What happened

Three students stepped toward college with the essentials they needed.

Navy Rose LIT celebrated three students who shared their goals through essays and were selected for our First-Generation College Ready Campaign. With the help of our community, each student received a collection of dorm-room and school essentials designed to ease the cost of moving to campus.

Donations included televisions, microwaves, mini refrigerators, comforter sets, toiletries, household supplies, storage items, and other practical necessities. More than supplies, the presentation gave our students encouragement, recognition, and a community cheering them forward.
